The Greater Atlanta Chapter of ISES is proud to support Manna Scholarship Fund, Inc.

In 2007, Manna Scholarship Fund was developed in order to provide direct payment of inpatient treatment costs due to inadequate insurance coverage for people with eating disorders. This effort is to help fray the high cost of specialized care and to avoid the often difficult decisions to be made for families of patients (ongoing treatment for seriously ill patient versus exorbitant cost of care). Our desire is that all recipients, and eventually, all individuals who have been personally affected by an eating disorder, will receive the appropriate care to help them eliminate their eating disorder altogether.

Specialized inpatient care for eating disorders is expensive and is not available at all psychiatric hospitals. Managed care companies often dictate what health professional or facility a patient can see, regardless of the need for specialized care.  Manna Scholarship Fund provides scholarship funding for individuals by partnering with inpatient facilities and negotiating reduced rates for inpatient stays.

Your tax deductible donation helps Manna provide for inpatient eating disorder treatment for individuals lacking insurance coverage or for those with inadequate insurance coverage. Please contact us if you are interested in making any donation at corporate@mannafund.org . In addition to scholarship funding, we are currently in need of the following donations:

• Toiletries
• Bibles
• Journals
• Office space, office equipment
• Hosting/participation in fundraising events
• Gemstones, jewelry components, and completed jewelry items to sell
• Gift baskets, including items such as: shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, lotion, Bible, journal, inspirational books/CDs
• Volunteers with the following experience/skills:

• Fundraising
• Accounting
• Legal
• Marketing
