Also keep an eye out for purple, red and green in rich hues, adding a youthful note to muted grey tones and a strong accent to white and black décor.” Flexible LED Lighting Events will be held in new and different spaces that surprise guests, giving events held outdoor or in other non-traditional spaces renewed importance. Flexible lighting allows event planners to create spectacular glowing environments without worrying about extension cords, outlets or generators. The summer issue of ISES Insights is now online!

    Dear Ms. Bonner:

Thank you for contacting me to express your opinions regarding Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP) and its effect on business travel. I appreciate hearing from you and having the benefit of your views.

As you know, the past six months have been a period of tremendous financial upheaval in our county. From the sub-prime mortgage bubble, to the lack of available credit for individuals and small businesses, it is clear that we are in uncharted waters. Indeed, not since the 1930's have Americans held this much fear about their finances. As a result, the public and the media are hungry for scapegoats.

I strongly believe that this is a time for prudence. It is tempting to want to score political points by finding easy villains, but we have seen what happens when we are quick act. As you may know, Senator Kerry's recent legislation regarding TARP reform does not reflect the bill that recently passed the House. However, you can be assured that I am carefully considering the impact that any TARP reform measures will have for legitimate businesses and will keep your thoughts in mind should these proposals come before the House for a vote.

Again, thank for your correspondence and I hope that you will continue to contact me about issues that are of concern to you. In the future, please feel free to visit my web site at http://www.house.gov/johnlewis for more information on legislation that interests you and to sign up for my e-newsletter.

    Sincerely,
